The NSW-Integrated Marine Observing System team has maintained a network of ocean observing infrastructure since 2010. The large data set consists of a wide range of parameters from various ocean observing platforms and sources, such as Argo floats, coastal moorings, autonomous ocean gliders, remotely sensed measurements, high frequency coastal radar, etc. The data is available in netcdf format making it easily accessible to physical scientists and other researchers. However, to further increase the accessibility of the ocean information, especially with respect to the general public, decision-makers and other stakeholders, a simple web application is developed consisting of easy-to-understand graphics and statistics. Such a web project would in turn encourage web developers to create more similar projects of various complexities, thus aiding the dissemination of ocean data and ultimately understanding of ocean systems.
