Savin Chand

Savin Chand received his PhD from the University of Melbourne in 2011. His research expertise is on weather and climate extremes, particularly tropical cyclones and rainfall. Prior to joining the Federation University as a Lecturer, Savin worked as a Research Scientist at the Australian Bureau of Meteorology from 2011 to mid-2013. He has a number of scientific publications in the top international journals. Most of these publications are in the field of extreme weather events and climate change.
